Luke Arend was a double finalist in the 2020 Society of Garden Design annual award, and won the category of 'Student Commercial' for his final college project for a York Care Home garden entitled 'Getting Out'.
Luke Arend won a Society of Garden Design annual award for his final project from London College of Garden Design for his York Care Home garden entitled 'Getting Out'. The judges commented, "A strong design of immersive experiences, demonstrating an excellent use of space and communicated through purposeful graphics, emotive sketches and a clean and simple Masterplan. The design hangs together as a cohesive piece of landscape as well as being realistic to implement"
