The brief was to transform a grey undeveloped office courtyard into an accessible and inviting modern garden for breaks, meetings and functions.

The design concept was for office workers to get up close with nature to help relax from office stresses. This was inspired by the stunning beauty of nature very close up through photomicrography . The design forms are taken from a Dahlia cell magnified hundreds of times.

The design uses a rotating organic form with a central seating area surrounded by intimate sunken seating spaces where people can nourish their senses up close and personal with woodland planting and bodies of water.
